Dua Lipa has been blessing fans’ timelines with her snaps in Albania, however, she may have started some controversy in her latest, as she appears to be smoking a cigarette.
The music star posted a photo dump of snaps from her time away, although it seemed like the cigarette gained more attention than anything else. We take a look at what fans have been saying.
Dua Lipa posts ‘calm’ photo dump
Taking to her 88 million Instagram followers, Dua posted a photo dump showcasing her time in Albania which she captioned “calmmmmmm :*”
The front picture showed the star in a white long shirt dress and matching bag as she sat in front of some breathtaking views.
The second was a pic in the same position, except the star was holding a cigarette, which is what sparked the ‘controversy.’
The One Kiss singer then posted an array of other pictures, enjoying time with family and friends as they smiled at the camera. In one snap, she showed off her toned bikini body, in a purple two-piece and marching cover-up shirt.
Earlier on in the trip, the singer channeled her Barbie character, as she posed in a gorgeous red see-through dress by the beach, prompting fans to call her a ‘real life mermaid’.
Fans tell the star to ‘stop smoking’
As fans scrolled through the vacay pics, many of them took to the celebrity‘s comments to tell the 27-year old to stop smoking a it ‘wasn’t cool’.
“What’s with the cigarette photos? Is this the 90’s? Grow up,” wrote one.
Another said: “Smoking stopped being cool last century.”
“Stop smoking queen,” wrote another.
Although, other fans had a different outlook on the picture, as one joked: “I wish I was that cigarette.”
“Let her do what she wants she’s a grown woman and you can’t control her life,” penned one.
“She looks smoking hot!” exclaimed another fan.
Dua Lipa ‘quit’ smoking in 2022
Back in 2022, the 27-year-old announced she had quit smoking, ahead of her mammoth 81-date world tour, along with some other lifestyle changes.
In an interview with The Sun, she said: “I had laryngitis in December and that kind of kickstarted me quitting smoking a month earlier than I was supposed to. But I did it and I have stuck to it.
I have this habit tracker on my phone where every night I tick off all the good things I have done for my body and things I have done for myself.”
She then said she felt ‘invincible’ on stage after her health makeover.
