Timothee Chalamet attempting to eat a British scone might be the most adorable thing making its way across the internet right now. 

At the moment, the cast of Dune: Part Two is popping up across social media as the Hollywood actors sit down with various publications on a press tour. Too many viral moments have already sprung up as a result, with the most notable being Rebecca Ferguson’s shock admission over a rather rude co-star. But Timothee Chalamet trying to eat a scone, a British delicacy, is hilarious, but adorable.

Is it scone, or scone?

Timothee Chalamet, 28, sat down with Austin Butler, 32, as they tried various British snacks and delicacies with LadBible. The resulting footage was then posted on social media, where fans simply can’t get enough of the two actors. 

While chatting away, the two celebs were introduced to a quintessential British scone, which many Americans crudely dubbed a “biscuit” in the comments.

According to cooks, a scone is typically sweeter and drier than an American biscuit, which is also somewhat flakier. 

The first too-cute moment came when debating the pronunciation of the dish. The journalist offered Austin and Timothee some jam and cream, which the latter misheard as “German cream.”

Frankly, the Wonka actor seemed a bit taken aback by the scone as he stared at it in various memeable poses.

“And Cornwall has it’s own flag,” Timothee randomly shared when talking about whether the jam or cream is supposed to go on first.

Since posting, the video has garnered over 2 million views and nearly 170k likes on TikTok. There are also hundreds of comments gushing over the dynamic duo.

One person chirped: “Him & Kylie make a lot more sense now….”

“Timothee knows Cornwall has its own flag but not that you open a scone THEN put on the jam and cream,” another person said.

Of course, other TikTok users were solely focused on Austin’s Elivs-esque accent, which seems to be alive and kicking despite the film having already been released. 

“Austin butler needs to get a grip and talk normal,” one person joked, as someone else agreed with, “Austin Butler still got the Elvis in his voice I see.”
