Fans were overjoyed on social media after they spotted a hidden Taylor Swift reference in the latest add-on pack for Sims.

The legendary sandbox game has been a staple of youth culture since its inception in the early 2000s. Now, the popularity surrounding Sims is as strong as ever as they prep for the release of another version for their 70 million players. The latest add-on has also caught the eyes of some fans.

Taylor Swift is now in Sims – kind of

On February 29th, at 10 AM PT, Sims will release its latest “goodie” stuff” pack called Crystal Creations. The pack comes with brand-new fashion items, fresh furniture choices, and even a new gameplay mechanic. For the first time, gamers will be able to hunt for crystals and then make jewelry with their discoveries.

Eagle-eyed fans flocked to social media ahead of the release as someone revealed a nifty Taylor Swift reference contained within the Sims add-on. 

“TAYLOR SWIFT REFERENCE IN THE SIMS,” a user wrote on X, formally known as Twitter. 

Alongside the reveal, he posted a picture of the item which seemingly displayed a “Delicate Bracelet” able to be worn by players. 

The item description reads: “Yes, it’s cool you said that. Yes, it’s chill they’re in your head. You’re wearing the Delicate Bracelet.”

True fans of T-Swift will know the quote as an obvious reference to the 2017 Reputation track, Delicate, where the star sings: “Is it cool that I said all that? Is it chill that you’re in my head? ‘Cause I know that it’s delicate.”

Stans are keen to get the pack

Fans seem thrilled by the reveal, with many arguing they’re going to jump back into the game solely because of the celebrity hint. We are still waiting on a Travis Kelce nod, but it’s still early days. 

One person wrote: “I love how all of my interests are somehow intertwined in one way or another.”

“Actually I’m pretty sure they even inserted a folklore album cover in one of the decorations,” another person said.

As a third added: “Y’know I might just buy the new pack… (even tho it’s been so long since I last played the game).”

The pack will be available from today on Steam, the Microsoft Store, the Playstation Store, and Epic Games.
