Actor Kevin Spacey was rushed to hospital after fears he was having a heart attack.
The star bravely opened up over the scary ordeal at an awards show on Monday night. The celebrity detailed the symptoms he was having and how he feared he was suffering from a heart attack. The health scare took place while he was taking a tour at a museum during the day, luckily other people were with him.

Spacey was visiting the Afrasiyab Museum in the city of Samarkand on Monday, (October 2), in Uzbekistan.
But suddenly his entire arm went number for eight seconds, a considerably long amount of time for the scare to have an effect on the movie star.
The 64-year-old was rushed to the hospital after falling ill and treated at the Innova Diagnostic Clinic. He underwent a series of tests and even had an MRI to check over all of his vitals.
Luckily, the House of Cards star was given clean bill of health by medics eventually.
However, he spoke about the ordeal when he gave a speech at the closing ceremony for the Tashkent International Film Festival later that night, only a matter of hours afterward.
He explained his health was “normal” but it struck a chord with him. It made him take a step back for “a moment and think about how fragile life is”.
‘I suddenly felt my entire left arm go numb’
Spacey told the crowd: “I experienced something here today that was unexpected.”
He continued: “I was looking at these extraordinary murals on the walls and I suddenly felt my entire left arm go numb for about eight seconds.
“I shook it off, but I immediately told the people I was with and we went immediately to the […] medical center.”
Spacey added: “I spent the afternoon there, having a variety of tests. Staff took care of me, and even put me through an MRI.
“Everything turned out to be completely normal, and I’m grateful it’s not anything more serious.”
Kevin Spacey’s big comeback
It came just a day after the Oscar-nominated star had announced his big return to movies.
A source close to the TV actor said: “Mr Spacey was taken to a medical center over health concerns.
“He was treated professionally by doctors and staff and found to have no problem with his heart.”
He has spent recent months out of the limelight after his highly-publicized trial. Spacey was found not guilty of nine sex offenses in London in July 2023. It also followed winning a sexual battery lawsuit in November last year in New York.
A friend close to the star says he is planning on leaving “the nonsense behind” and to look ahead to the future. He wants to get his career back on track after projects were dropped from his schedule following the allegations.
On Sunday, at another event, Spacey claimed his best roles were still to come.
