A group of ex-military and police personnel have designed a nuclear survival kit that could help a family of four survive for the first 72-hours after disaster strikes.

Urban Preppers UK is a company run by former army and police staff who primarily deal in goods for surviving in the great outdoors.

However, as World War Three fears increase due to the Russia-Ukraine war - the fear of Vladimir Putin's nuclear weapons has also never been so high.

That's why the company has launched a three-day kit that is suitable for a family of four should such an attack occur.

The pack contains a rucksack, military-grade gas masks with drinking and gas filters, personal hygiene essentials, first aid kit, surgical masks, safety goggles, water bottles, food and water rations, protective clothing for the outdoors, a shovel, rope, matches and gorilla tape.

And while some may say there is no price on the safety of yourself and your loved ones - this shop managed to find one as the kits retail for £1,549.95 on the Urban Preppers website.

Promoting the bags on Facebook, they said: "An act of war is not the only threat from man. Dams burst, power plants go down, pipelines explode, oil spills occur, and other man-made structures and facilities can fail, resulting in disaster.
