Grammy Awards 2023: Beyonc creates History with her 32nd Trophy
September 2024 · 3 minute read
One of the ace American Singer-songwriter Beyoncé now owns the record for the most GRAMMY victories ever after taking home the prize for Best Dance/Electronic Music Album at the Grammy Awards 2023. Previously held by George Solti, Queen Bey has now surpassed the classical conductor, in part because of her potent 2022 album, RENAISSANCE. With 32 GRAMMY awards already under her belt and the chance to add more this evening, the mega-star created yet another unforgettable GRAMMYs moment.
The Unwavering Legacy
Beyoncé herself was there when it was time for the record-breaking GRAMMY Awards triumph, and she entered the stage to a standing ovation and an overwhelming wave of acclaim. She was sure to thank God and her family before mentioning a particular group that had a significant influence on this record.
She enunciated, “I’d like to thank the queer community,” citing her uncle Jonny as an inspiration for RENAISSANCE as well as the pioneering voices in dance and electronic music. The debate about who is the “GOAT” has ended, but Beyoncé’s legacy is far from over, according to broadcaster Trevor Noah.
