Bradley Cooper dropped everything to rescue co-star who began 'frothing at the mouth'

Bradley Cooper was once in the right place at the right time, for fellow movie star Brooke Shields, when she suffered from a seizure.

The star is known for being one of Hollywood‘s biggest heartthrobs, but to Shields, he’s much more than that as he accompanied her to the hospital during a very scary moment in her life.

In September, The Blue Lagoon star suffered from a seizure that “nobody knew about” until she opened up to Glamour Magazine.

At the time, the movie star was preparing to open her one-woman show at Carlyle Café in New York City.

“I was preparing for the show, and I was drinking so much water, and I didn’t know I was low in sodium. I was waiting for an Uber. I get down to the bottom of the steps, and I start evidently looking weird, and [the people I was with] were like, ‘Are you okay?’” she told the publication as she recalled the scary moment.

However, after saying she “felt great” the 58-year-old recalled everything going black, and “going headfirst into the wall.”

She says she was “frothing at the mouth, totally blue, trying to swallow my tongue.” Of course, her memory goes blank from this point, but the next thing she remembers is Bradley Cooper holding her hand.

“The next thing I remember, I’m being loaded into an ambulance. I have oxygen on,” she told Glamour. “And Bradley f****** Cooper is sitting next to me holding my hand.”

The Hangover star was in the nearby area and was contacted through assistants, as the restaurant struggled to get in contact with Shields’ husband, Chris Henchy.

Brooke says the seizure was triggered by low sodium and “drinking too much water.”

Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid have been spotted together several times, and the celeb world are wondering if they’re the next celebrity couple.

Insiders have claimed the two are just ‘having fun’, however, they’ve recently been spotted on a theatre date watching the play ‘Danny and the Deep Blue Sea’, in pictures obtained by Page Six.

A source told the publication that it looked like the two were holding hands as they exited the theatre, although they couldn’t get close enough to confirm.

The pair are both parents to daughters, who they share with their exes. Bradley is dad to six-year-old Lea, who he shares with Irina Shayk.

Gigi is mother to three-year-old Khai, who she shares with former One Direction star, Zayn Malik.

When Cooper and Hadid were first spotted ‘getting close’ a source told PEOPLE that the two have “things in common,” one of these being that they’re both parents.
